Harper's Heroes is our promise to recognise children and young people who have faced childhood cancer, during treatment, after treatment and in remembrance.
We remember the child, not just the treatment.
The aim is not to keep bringing families back to cancer. It is to make sure the journey is acknowledged and that children have moments where the attention is on them for the right reasons.

Register or refer
A parent or carer can register directly. Someone else can make an initial referral so we can invite the family to complete their own details.
Family chooses
Families choose what they want to take part in, what information we can hold and whether anything can ever be shared publicly.
We keep showing up
Recognition dates, welcome packs, events and experiences are recorded so that support is planned rather than left to chance.
Children who are no longer with us are still part of this.
Families can register a child who has died. We will handle that separately and sensitively, so parents are not asked to work through forms written as though their child is still in treatment.
Families will be able to choose whether they want annual remembrance, family invitations and ongoing contact. There is no expectation to share a story publicly.

Our secure form separates parent/carer registration from third-party referrals, so families stay in control of what health information they choose to share.
