Our events are built around children and families, with accessibility and safeguarding considered from the start.
Events & experiences

More reasons to have a good day.

We want families to have things in the diary that they can look forward to. Sometimes that will be a bigger event, sometimes it might simply be cinema tickets, ice skating, a meal or a few families getting together somewhere that understands what they need.

Anything we publish here has been approved for the public website. Family or medical information is never drawn automatically from the Harper's Heroes register.

How we plan them

Events that work for real families.

We are not interested in putting on something that looks good in a photograph but is difficult for families to use. The practical details matter.

◌

Different energy levels

Not every child can manage a full day, a crowded venue or a rigid timetable. We will plan around that rather than expect families to fit around us.

✦

Quieter or reduced-capacity options

Where we can, we will look for sessions that are calmer and more suitable for children who need space, flexibility or reduced contact with large crowds.

⌁

The whole family matters

Siblings and parents carry parts of the experience too. Where an activity is designed for the family, we will say that clearly and plan the places properly.

Safeguarding & privacy

Being there never means agreeing to be public.

A child can attend an event without appearing on our website or social media. Photography and story permissions are dealt with separately from event attendance.
